Drawn to the music of Black Sabbath helped Josh's taste in music developed as a young teen. The underlying grit, heavy riffs, & elegantly eerie melodies can be interpreted in Josh's visual works. Parallels can be made through the high contrasts yet overtly raw approach to the painting. For this reason, & because Ozzy has pioneered something worth cementing in history, Josh chose this iconic band. Specifically, the pose Ozzy takes is beloved, haunting and synonymous to his legacy.
